K
endra Wilkinson is clarifying her real estate career after announcing in May that she was stepping away from the industry. The Kendra Sells Hollywood star, 39, has revealed that she didn't actually quit and that an off day led to her hastily posting about it on social media.
"I had a really bad day," Wilkinson explained at the DirecTV Gets Real party. "I shouldn't have announced I was quitting real estate, but I did on accident. It was a huge mistake." However, she's now back in the business and has several deals in the works.
Wilkinson finds her job stressful, but she loves it for its daily challenges. She initially announced her departure from real estate to focus on her mental health and family, citing stress as a reason for taking a break. Her reality TV show, Kendra Sells Hollywood, followed her navigating drama at Douglas Elliman while balancing career and family life.
In January 2024, Wilkinson opened up about her struggles with mental health, including a hospitalization for a panic attack in September 2023. She's since spoken publicly about finding strength to cope with her challenges.
