New York-based real estate company, A&E Real Estate, kicked off Thanksgiving festivities early this year with a generous turkey giveaway on November 12th. The event was part of their holiday tradition, where they distributed 300 free turkeys to residents of Kew Gardens Hills and The Opal, their flagship property in Kew Gardens.
Volunteers from the company set up tables outside their office in Kew Gardens Hills, greeting families and handing out turkeys to those who requested them. "Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for families here," said Maggie Brunn, President of A&E Real Estate. "We're grateful for our volunteers and community members who came out to get into the holiday spirit."
The turkey giveaway comes just two weeks before Thanksgiving, providing one less thing for families to worry about as they prepare for the busy holiday. A&E Real Estate focuses on workforce housing, investing in multifamily properties across the city that cater to essential workers such as hospital staff, teachers, and first responders.
