n Puerto Morelos, Q.R., 279 real estate agents are now officially licensed to buy and sell property in the municipality. Over the weekend, Governor Mara Lezama presented licenses to five new agents, bringing the total number of certified professionals to 284.

    The licensing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including DIF President Verónica Lezama Espinosa, Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu, and SEDETUS head José Alberto Alonso Ovando. Governor Lezama highlighted that licensed real estate agents provide a vital service for those looking to purchase land, ensuring they receive expert advice and can trust the legitimacy of their transactions.

    The new agents completed 90 hours of training, which is now mandatory for obtaining a license. According to Governor Lezama, this certification guarantees orderly growth in the region while providing investors with confidence that properties are acquired legally and efficiently.
