ew data from Realtor.com shows that home sale prices in Lubbock County rose to a median of $241,906 in April, up 2.4% from the previous month's median of $236,188. Compared to April 2024, the median home sales price increased by 5.6% from $229,074.
Single-family homes saw a similar trend, with a median selling price of $242,656 in April, a 2.7% increase from March and a 5.9% rise since April 2024. Two single-family homes sold for over $1 million during the month, compared to none in April 2024.
Condominiums and townhomes also experienced an increase in sales price, rising by 15.7% to a median of $227,188 from $196,330 in March. Since April 2024, this figure has increased by 15.8%. No condominiums or townhomes sold for over $1 million during the month.
In Lubbock County, the number of recorded sales dropped by 16.6% since April 2024, with a total value of $115.6 million in residential home sales. Across Texas, homes sold at a median price of $323,275 in April, a slight increase from March's median. The state saw 43,154 recorded sales during the month, down 13.8% from April 2024.
The total value of recorded residential home sales in Texas increased by 7.4% to $9 billion this April. Out of all residential home sales in Texas, 0.47% sold for at least $1 million, up from 0.07% in April 2024.
