A
3,300-acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country is up for sale at a whopping $65 million. Dubbed "Hidden Valley Ranch," it's located about 70 miles northwest of San Antonio and offers an unparalleled hunting experience. The property spans over 20 miles of paved roads and features a high-fenced perimeter.
The ranch boasts numerous dwellings, including a 9,000-square-foot limestone mansion with nine bedrooms, a three-story rock lodge with six bedrooms, and two foreman's houses. There are also several lakes, waterfalls, and walking trails along the property's 3 miles of flowing water.
Deer blinds, corn feeders, and protein feeders sustain the ranch's white-tailed deer population, while turkey and bass are abundant in the area. The occasional spotting of aoudad, fallow deer, axis deer, or river otter adds to the excitement.
The property was developed by K.K. Amini, an Iranian immigrant who built over 750 oil wells across the Permian Basin and Gulf Coast. His son Michael Amini is now selling the ranch after diversifying into real estate ventures.
Sales of luxury ranches have been on the rise in recent years, but several high-end properties have struggled to find buyers, with some even dropping their asking prices. The Texas rural land market appears to be in flux, according to a report from Texas A&M University's Texas Real Estate Research Center.
The Hidden Valley Ranch is one of many multimillion-dollar ranch listings by Dullnig Ranch Sales at Kuper Sotheby's International Realty. Another notable listing includes the 1,600-acre River Oaks Ranch between Austin and San Antonio, which was initially priced at $45 million but is now listed for $33.5 million.
