L
ast week, Los Angeles County's signed contracts for homes over $4 million saw a significant slowdown. According to the Eklund Weekly Luxury Report LA, only 16 contracts were signed, totaling $139.3 million in asking dollar volume. This is a decline from the previous week's 28 contracts worth $172.3 million.
A 1920s Bel-Air estate on Saint Pierre Road led the list with an asking price of $46 million. The property boasts a 15,000-square-foot main house, a guest house, and a movie theater, among other luxurious features. James Harris and David Parnes of Bond Street Partners have the listing.
Another notable sale was a Richard Landry-designed property on Mulholland Drive, priced at $11.5 million. The home features a vineyard and is listed by Angelo Fierro of Compass and Aaron Kirman of Christie's International Real Estate Southern California. Despite these high-end sales, the overall market saw a slowdown in deal-making last week.
