A
Spanish-style mansion in Bel-Air, owned by fashion designer Serge Azria, topped L.A. County's contract activity during the Thanksgiving holiday week. According to the Eklund Weekly Luxury Report Los Angeles, this was the highest-priced signed contract for the period. The 8,200-square-foot home at 212 Copa De Oro Road features six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, along with an office, media room, chef's kitchen, and pool.
Azria, who also owns fashion brands like Joie and Equipment, recently sold his oceanfront Malibu estate to tech billionaire Marc Andreessen for $177 million in 2021. The Bel-Air property was previously owned by filmmaker Orson Welles and actress Diane Keaton and was designed by renowned architects Wallace Neff and John Byers.
In Hancock Park, a home at 355 South Rimpau Boulevard with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms is under contract for $12.5 million. The sellers are Joseph Gonzalez, CEO of Barry's Bootcamp, and Jonathan Rollo, CEO and chef of Greenleaf Kitchen & Cocktails. Across L.A. County, 15 contracts were signed last week totaling $133.2 million in asking dollar volume, a decrease from the previous period's 23 contracts worth $157.4 million.
