$6.85 million home in Los Angeles' Mandeville Canyon neighborhood has become the unlikely backdrop for Tesla's groundbreaking Optimus Robot, generating over 9 million views on social media. The high-tech robot made its debut inside the stunning property, performing everyday tasks such as cleaning and watering plants.
The video, which premiered on October 11, showcased the Optimus Robot navigating the sleek home, including a sprawling five-bedroom spread listed by Jason Peteler of Revel Real Estate. This marked the first time Tesla's humanoid robot had been filmed inside a home, with the property chosen for its modern style and futuristic aesthetic.
Elon Musk has predicted that the Optimus Robot will bring about a "fundamental transformation" for civilization. The video has already racked up millions of views on X and YouTube, with Peteler describing it as a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." Tesla rented the home for a couple of days to film the project, keeping the details under wraps until the big reveal.
The property, known as "La Reserve," features elegant public spaces, a 14-foot marble kitchen island, and a primary suite with separate his-and-hers vanities. Peteler notes that Tesla could have rented any house in Los Angeles but chose this one for its unique blend of modern style and futuristic vision.
