Luxury New Home in Historic Old Worthington Asks $1.25 Million

Couples buy new home near Old Worthington for $1.25 million.

W
hitney and Jonathan Poma, a couple who fell in love with the charm of Old Worthington, ended up building their dream home just a few blocks away. The result was a stunning modern-farmhouse style residence built by veteran central Ohio builder Bob Webb. Now, six years later, they're reluctantly putting it on the market to move closer to their kids' school in Bexley.

"We love this house, but we're not leaving because of it," said Whitney, 38, who works at Third Street Digital. "We're just moving to a new neighborhood." The home's listing price is $1.25 million through Cutler Real Estate agent Karleya Chard.

The 3,701-square-foot main level features an open living space, office, and mudroom with laundry facilities. Upstairs, four bedrooms each have their own bathroom, plus a loft area that now serves as a workout space. The lower level boasts a fifth bedroom, rec room with a massive projection screen, and a separate garage turned gym.

The Pomas have invested around $100,000 in upgrades, including high-end appliances, surround sound, and a patio made of Banas Stones with gas hookups for a built-in firepit. "We love the neighborhood," Whitney said. "You can walk to the best farmer's market, an amazing new restaurant, and wonderful neighbors."
