Sullivan house sold for $415,000 tops the list of most expensive residential real estate sales in Madison County between January 4 and 17. Seven sales were recorded during this period with an average price of $260,500 and an average price per square foot of $163.

    The following are the top seven sales:

    7. A single-family residence at 502 State Street in Canastota sold for $80,000, or $66 per square foot. The house was built in 1800 and had a living area of 1,206 square feet.

    6. A single-family home at 207 Walrath Drive in Chittenango sold for $110,000, with a price per square foot of $127. The house was built in 1973 and had a living area of 865 square feet.
