Mahesh Babu faces legal action for promoting suspected ₹34 lakh real estate scam.

Mahesh Babu faces legal trouble for endorsing a real estate company, a repeat issue.

M
ahesh Babu has landed in legal trouble once again due to his past endorsement of a real estate company. According to reports, the Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission in Telangana has issued notices to the actor regarding his association with Sai Surya Developers. A Hyderabad-based doctor had filed a complaint alleging that she was cheated out of ₹34.8 lakh after paying for plots that didn't exist.

Mahesh Babu has been named as the third respondent, accused of promoting Sai Surya Developers and misleading buyers. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also questioned him in April this year regarding a money laundering case involving Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group. As the brand ambassador for Sai Surya's Green Meadows project, Mahesh was reportedly paid ₹5.9 crore.

It is worth noting that sources had stated that Mahesh may not have been involved in the scam, but rather endorsed the realty projects of the accused companies without knowing about the alleged fraud. Despite this, the actor and his team have yet to address the issue publicly.
