elebrity heiress Paris Hilton has lost her beachfront home in Malibu due to the devastating Palisades Fire. The entrepreneur shared a heartfelt social media post on Wednesday, expressing her grief over the loss of her family's home.
"My heart is broken," Hilton wrote, reflecting on the memories she and her two young children had made in the house. "This home was where we built so many precious moments... It's where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London."
Hilton emphasized that while the loss is overwhelming, she's grateful that her family is safe. She extended her condolences to those affected by the fires, including families who have lost their homes, pets, and loved ones.
The Malibu house was not Hilton's primary residence; she owns multiple properties in the Los Angeles area. On Tuesday, she had posted a prayer for LA and California on Instagram, sharing an aerial photo of the raging fire.
The Palisades Fire has forced tens of thousands to evacuate their homes, with over 2,900 acres burned by nightfall on Tuesday. Several other fires have broken out in the region, fueled by strong winds. Other celebrities, including Mark Hamill and Ben Affleck, have also been affected by the disaster.
Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Oscar nominee James Woods, and actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are among those who have lost their homes to the fires. The cause of the Palisades Fire is under investigation, while another fire in the Altadena area has claimed five lives.
