A
mid-century Los Angeles home purchased by Matthew Perry just months before his death is now in escrow to sell to its next owner, although the buyer's identity remains unknown. The "Friends" star bought the residence in June 2023 for approximately $5 million through a limited liability company named after Woody Allen's character Alvy Singer from the movie "Annie Hall."
The single-story home, built in 1957 and renovated over the years, spans about 2,800 square feet with two bedrooms. It features an updated kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, and a double-sided fireplace between the living area and dining room. The property also boasts a pool area accessible from the master suite, as well as a fire pit and covered seating.
The home was listed in May for $5.19 million before its price was reduced to $4.7 million in September. Perry's death in October 2023 at age 54 was attributed to an overdose on ketamine. His other Los Angeles residence sold for $8.5 million in an off-market deal the same month.
