arlos grew up in rural San Luis Potosi, Mexico, before working as a framer in the Dallas Metroplex area for several years. Nicole is a fifth-generation native of Western Colorado, where her family still operates Bernal Farms. They're raising their children near the farm, close to their agricultural roots and family.

    Carlos spent over a decade framing before founding Alta Home Builders in 2015. He completed four years of philosophy education at a seminary and an Associate's Degree from CMU in Construction Technology & Supervision. Nicole joined the industry alongside Carlos when Alta launched, managing design and sales while working as a full-time independent real estate broker.

    Outside of work, their family loves spending time outdoors, skiing, and exploring new mountains for their boys' ski races. They enjoy camping, mountain biking, and traveling together. Recently, they explored Spain for two weeks and plan to travel more in the coming years. Carlos and Nicole also love salsa dancing and live music.

    What they enjoy most about their job is bringing a vision for a home to life. They pour themselves into each project, creating beautiful spaces where people can make memories. One of their favorite projects was building a retirement retreat on a corner lot in Adobe Creek Golf Course, incorporating unique materials and traditional design with modern luxuries.

    Currently, they're working on custom homes on acre lots in Lazy V Lane, smaller homes in West Canyon, and spec homes in Desert Peach near Palisade. They'll have homes available at various price points starting early next spring.
