ichael Feinstein, a renowned New York cabaret legend and archivist for the Great American Songbook, has purchased a West Hollywood home with his partner Terrence Flannery for $2.72 million. This latest acquisition joins their existing properties, including an apartment on Central Park South, a home in Carmel, Indiana, a 50-acre avocado ranch in Santa Barbara County, and a residence in Pasadena.
The Spanish-style home at 1348 Miller Drive was built in 1936 and features 3,078 square feet of living space with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Perched above the Sunset Strip on 0.12 acres, it offers stunning city views. "The location is amazing," Feinstein said. "It's close to Beverly Hills where I spent several years working with Ira Gershwin on Roxbury Drive."
Inside, the home boasts a formal entry hall, step-down living room with a fireplace, and a large dining area adjacent to the chef's kitchen. The first floor also features a home office, while the main bedroom has two separate baths, two walk-in closets, and a fireplace. Additional amenities include an attached garage, patio overlooking the city, and a deck above the backyard.
Feinstein and Flannery previously sold their historic Upper East Side townhouse for $15.22 million in 2018. The listing broker was Jeffrey Hobgood of Sotheby's International Realty, while the buyers were represented by Douglas Elliman's Idan Gould.
