The P. Murrell Real Estate Group's annual Christmas party was a true celebration of friendship and community. As someone who can be shy in social situations, I was hesitant to attend alone, but the warm atmosphere and welcoming hosts made me feel right at home.
This wasn't your typical company holiday party; it was an event where friends and family came together to connect and have fun. The team's genuine enthusiasm for each other's company was palpable, and it's clear that they've built a strong community over the years.
The party was co-hosted by Murrell and his long-time partner, Jason Ramsey of Lawyer's Title. Their partnership is a testament to the importance of trust and collaboration in business. "Jason took me on as a new agent before we had many deals," Murrell said. "We owe much of our success to him."
The evening featured a talented pianist, holiday karaoke, and a signature punch from the bar. The setting was elegant, with stunning decor by Terah Clifton that rivaled Neiman's window displays. Phillip Murrell's home is truly #housegoals, reflecting his effortless style.
I chatted with Lisa Peters of First Horizon, a long-time industry partner and friend of Murrell's. She knows everyone in the business and has worked with Murrell for years. "Lisa makes us look good," Murrell said, praising her diligence and integrity as a lender.
The evening was filled with great conversation, delicious treats, and plenty of music. Kevin Ellis, an agent with PMRE, was particularly welcoming, introducing me to the group and sharing his work. Guests praised Murrell's ability to connect people and build a community, saying that he's more than just a realtor – he's a friend.
As one party-goer said, "Phillip is really good at connecting people. He was the first person I called when my husband and I were going to buy our first home." Another guest noted, "It speaks to who Phillip is as a person, how he stays connected with people he does business with."
