lon Musk's Hyperloop Plaza in Bastrop County, Texas, has secured two new retail leases. A cafe and medical office will join the campus at 865 FM 1209, catering to the growing needs of employees and nearby residents. Cafe Monet and Total Primary Care are set to open, as announced on Musk's X social media platform.
The plaza serves as a central hub for various ventures led by Musk, including The Boring Company and Starlink. Other tenants include Boring Bodega, Prufrock Pub, Cutterhead Candy Company, and a His & Hers Barbershop Salon. This expansion reflects Musk's community-driven approach in Bastrop County, where many of his employees reside in the modular home neighborhood of Snailbrook.
Musk has been actively developing the area, with plans to create a city led by him. He initially announced plans to relocate SpaceX and X to Texas, which is already home to Tesla operations. In Bastrop County, Musk has developed 600 acres for projects like The Boring Company, while also planning a Neuralink plant in Del Valle and partnering on a housing development called "Project Amazing" with Lennar.
