uxury real estate agents Jon Grauman and Adam Rosenfeld are striking out on their own, leaving Mauricio Umansky's The Agency brokerage to launch Resident Group, a new boutique real estate company. With over $3 billion in career sales between them, the duo has partnered with Side, a leading white-label real estate platform, to scale Resident with full autonomy and next-generation support.

    "We created Resident to put clients at the forefront," Rosenfeld said. "Every part of the client experience should be as thoughtful as the homes themselves." Grauman added that they didn't leave The Agency out of frustration, but rather to build something of their own. "Resident represents the evolution of our vision – a place where leadership, service, and meaningful relationships are core."

    Lauren Grauman will serve as CEO, with Renee Pickering as COO. Resident Group debuts as one of the top large teams in the US and California, with a lean team and a portfolio spanning Los Angeles's ultra-luxury market.

    Side co-founder and CEO Guy Gal praised the new venture, saying "Adam, Jon, Lauren, Renee, and their team are among the best real estate groups globally. We're proud to partner with them as they establish Resident."
