NYC firm acquires Copeland Ridge land, obtains $400M mortgage.

Clark County real estate deals (Aug. 16‑31, 2025) valued at $100,000+.

C
lark County recorded real‑estate deals from August 16‑31, 2025 that totaled at least $100,000 each. The data come from the County Circuit Clerk’s public records, online listings on actdatascout.com, and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian database lists grantees, grantors, sale price, and property details without omitting names. Prices reflect factors such as improvements that can raise value since purchase.

The headline transaction was a $945,030 sale of 277.95 acres adjacent to the south side of Copeland Ridge Road and west of Hasley Road. Jeremy and Megan Allen of Bismarck sold the pasture to CC Project SPV LLC. The company’s address—15 Little West 12th Street, Manhattan—belongs to Chestnut Carbon, a nature‑based carbon‑project developer that markets high‑quality carbon removal credits to net‑zero‑focused clients. Chestnut’s Sustainable Restoration Project builds new forests on marginal crop and pasture lands across the U.S., including Arkansas counties such as Nevada, Randolph, Conway, Jefferson, Yell, Scott, Sevier, Perry, and Cleveland. At the time of this report, no Clark County sites were listed as Chestnut projects, but the company recently secured more than 1,800 acres statewide, with large parcels near North and South Boat Ditch west of Curtis and near Boswell Lake northeast of Okolona. Chestnut acquired many of these properties earlier this year via quitclaim deeds. That same week, CC Project SPV obtained two mortgages totaling $400 million on two Clark County sites through Wilmington Trust.
