Mansion at 25 Riverside Drive boasts opulent decor and a rich, if scandalous, history.

A
stunning Beaux-Arts mansion on New York's Upper West Side has hit the market for $55 million, down from its initial asking price of $65 million in 2022. The 34-foot-wide property at 25 Riverside Drive boasts a rich history and opulent design.

Additional features include a glass conservatory, a roof terrace that can seat 100 people for dinner, an elevator, and outdoor entertaining areas.

The mansion was renovated in recent years and boasts breathtaking style throughout its interior. The property also includes a gym, a mahogany theater, and a wine cellar, as well as terraces with Hudson River views and a garden with pear trees. Designed by Gilded Age architect C.P.H. Gilbert, the historic home was built between 1895 and 1897.
