estled on 2.5 acres in the Cotswolds village of Selsley, Stanley Park is now on the market for £7.98 million. The manor, first built in 1584, has been offered as a single property for the first time, the London Standard reports. In 2023 the 11‑bedroom house was rented by Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and his fiancée Debbie Gwyther for £23,000 a month, a period they described as “living like a monk” while preparing for the 2024 ‘Definitely Maybe’ arena tour.

Rebekah Seddon‑Wickens bought the estate in 2015 at auction for just £1.03 million. She found the building in a derelict state after it had been split into multiple dwellings in the mid‑1900s. Over seven years she restored the manor to its former glory, using original Victorian plans and historic records. The result is a four‑storey home with ornate ceilings, stone arches, a grand north‑facing ballroom, and a stained‑glass ceiling, all complemented by a modern circular kitchen, gym, meditation room, sauna and cinema.

Stanley Park is a Grade II listed building, a designation that protects its historic character. The property features a large stone fireplace in the main entry, a billiards room, a floral sitting room, and a spacious bedroom with bay windows and hanging light fixtures. In 1941 Queen Mary, grandmother of the current monarch, visited for afternoon tea with Lady Beatrice Marling. After Marling’s death the house was divided into 11 apartments and later auctioned in 54 lots, a process that left the property in a state of disrepair until Seddon‑Wickens revived it.

The manor’s sale is being handled by Savills agents Plum Fenton and Tom Waltham. Whether you picture a rock‑star lifestyle or a contemplative retreat, Stanley Park offers both in a historic Cotswold setting.
