oseph E. Fingerman has joined Peapack Private Bank & Trust as senior managing director and president of commercial real estate, overseeing the bank's commercial lending platform. With over 25 years in the industry, Fingerman specializes in customized mortgage financing solutions for experienced investors, family offices, and major investment firms.

    Fingerman previously spent 15 years at Signature Bank, leading its commercial real estate lending group and expanding into New York and West Coast markets. After leaving Signature in 2023, he founded A&E Real Estate Finance, a boutique private credit platform, where he served as president and managing director.

    As an experienced leader, Fingerman is known for his relationships with top New York area real estate clients and has expertise in lending on retail, office, multifamily, and mixed-use properties. His reputation among leading investors and brokers has earned him a strong standing in the industry.

    Fingerman holds an MBA from Dowling College and has been named to Commercial Observer's Power 50 list multiple times. He serves on several boards, including UJA Federation of New York and Suffolk Y JCC, and is a member of various trade organizations.
