he brokerage industry is constantly evolving, with frequent mergers, acquisitions, and milestones. Here are some of the latest developments across the US:

    eXp Expands in Texas and Canada

    eXp has made significant strides in Texas and Canada, welcoming two large teams to its roster. In San Antonio, twin brothers Shane and Clint Neal led their team, Neal & Neal Team, to $338 million in sales volume last year after 15 years with Keller Williams. They cited eXp's flexibility, innovation, and global reach as key factors in their decision to join the brokerage.

    In Edmonton, Alberta, eXp announced its first co-sponsorship in Canada with John Rota and his Müve Team. The 46-agent group had $303 million (CAD) in sales last year and will be sponsored by James Knull and Justin Havre.

    Anywhere Brands Mergers

    ERA Experts has merged with Sprout Realty in Austin, creating a powerhouse team with over $738 million in sales volume and more than 1,500 transactions in 2024. Cody Cooper will continue leading his 80-agent team, while Matt Menard sees the partnership as an opportunity to expand their reach.

    Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Heritage Group has acquired Advantage Realty Partners in Manchester, Tennessee, following a merger with Baker & Cole Properties last year. Lora Umbarger will remain principal broker, and Mitch Umbarger will focus on real estate sales.

    Century 21 Solid Gold Realty has merged with Gloria Zastko, Realtors in Central New Jersey, adding 29 agents to their roster. Andrew Zastko believes the partnership will enhance their ability to serve clients.

    Keller Williams Market Pro Realty has welcomed Curtis Realty Group in Arkansas, which amassed $91.9 million in sales volume last year with 295 units sold. KW's coaching division also announced a new training program led by Michael Maher, focusing on lead-generation and referral mastery.

    Other Notable Developments

    Coldwell Banker Realty has acquired the Joe Velasco Group in Northern California, a team focused on Silicon Valley and the Peninsula that was previously aligned with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. The team had over $180 million in sales volume last year.

    Brown Harris Stevens has welcomed real estate veteran Frederick Warburg Peters into their fold in New York City, who has amassed over $1 billion in lifetime sales volume since entering the industry in 1980.

    Corcoran Infinity Properties has opened a new office in Ridgewood, New Jersey, its fourth in Bergen County. The office will be led by David Arabia and aims to serve buyers seeking a blend of tranquility and upscale amenities near New York City.
