egions Bank has unveiled a cloud‑based borrower portal for its Real Estate Banking clientele, designed to simplify construction draw requests, enhance stakeholder collaboration, and boost transparency on active projects. The platform, built on the Built real‑estate and construction finance framework, links lenders, investors, inspectors and other parties to enable quicker, data‑driven decisions across commercial, income‑property and affordable‑housing finance.
Clients access a single hub to view project financials, upload invoices, submit draw requests and monitor funding status in real time—replacing slow, manual workflows that can stall construction. Key capabilities include:
* **Construction administration** – a direct conduit between borrowers, third parties and Regions that accelerates funding and delivers up‑to‑date project and loan data.
* **Real‑time communication** – instant email alerts throughout the project lifecycle, notifying users when draws are funded or inspection reports are posted, helping manage capital needs and reduce fraud risk.
Andy Hussion, head of Regions Real Estate Banking, said the portal “provides an enhanced customer experience that keeps projects on schedule and within budget.” He added that the digital solution aligns with Regions’ commitment to continuous innovation and will serve both existing and prospective clients.
Regions claims to be the first bank to launch such a portal. The bank had previously partnered with Built on a similar solution for its homebuilder finance team, acting as a design partner to refine features, pilot test, validate the product and train staff.
Built CEO Chase Gilbert noted, “Owners and developers already face complex construction challenges; our goal is to make capital access and payments as seamless as possible while maintaining prudent risk management.” He praised Regions for demonstrating the platform’s potential and strengthening the lender‑borrower relationship.
Early adopters include Dallas‑based Palladium USA, which is using the portal for the construction of Palladium Buckner Station, a transit‑oriented multifamily development slated to open in early 2027. Executive Director‑Finance Cody J. Hunt said, “We’re always seeking partners that share our commitment to innovation. Regions’ new portal delivers speed, visibility and control from day one, keeping projects moving and capital working efficiently.” He thanked Regions and Built for making the experience available.
