eregh, a developer specializing in mixed-use real estate near sports venues, has bolstered its board with Ric Clark, former CEO of Brookfield Property Group. This move underscores Seregh's focus on capitalizing on the trend of pro franchises developing adjacent properties.
"We're creating a powerhouse that will partner with teams and drive $1 billion to $5 billion in development per venue," said Jonathan Fascitelli, Seregh founder and chairman. Clark, who grew Brookfield from $5 billion to $200 billion in assets under management, joins the investment committee alongside Mitchell Schear, a veteran real estate executive.
Seregh was launched last month by Fascitelli, backed by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment and Creative Artists Agency. The company aims to initiate $100 billion in construction starts over 15 years, capitalizing on the growing demand for sports and entertainment real estate developments. Clark's expertise will be invaluable as Seregh navigates this market.
Clark previously led Brookfield from 1984 to 2020 before forming WatermanClark, which partnered with Brookfield on a $100 million Lever House renovation. He joins an investment committee that also includes Amy Latimer of Delaware North, Kevin Demoff of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, Joseph Cohen of The Switch Sports Group, and Mike Levine of CAA Sports.
