travel plaza is in the works for Ripley, with a company purchasing additional land on Shortman Road. Ripley Travel Holdings, LLC of Scranton, Pa. bought two parcels from Mendenhall Properties and Colonial Squire Properties for $100,000 and $125,000 respectively. The properties border the Lions Den adult novelty store, which is owned by Ripley Travel Holdings and may relocate to Pennsylvania in the fall.
In other real estate news, Donald Bloomquist Jr. sold his landscaping business's property at 1391 Busti Stillwater Road, Kiantone to Lakewood Appliance Sales & Service for $288,000. Bloomquist retired after 44 years in business.
From January 2-10, there were six sales over $250,000 and one seven-figure sale: the purchase of 35 Vincent Ave. in Chautauqua Institution for $1,405,000. Other notable sales include:
