A
fifth woman has filed a civil lawsuit against Sacramento real estate investor Ethan Conrad, accusing him of assault and sexual battery. This is the latest in a string of lawsuits filed against Conrad over the past six months, with multiple women alleging sex-related offenses, including battery and harassment.
The new lawsuit claims that the plaintiff was in a romantic relationship with Conrad from 2019 onwards, during which they engaged in consensual sex on multiple occasions. However, she now believes that some of her drinks were spiked with drugs, leading to rape. The suit alleges that she experienced unusual symptoms after consuming cocktails made by Conrad, including disorientation, memory gaps, extreme fatigue, unconsciousness, and physical weakness.
The plaintiff claims that Conrad dismissed her concerns, telling her she had too much to drink. This is the third lawsuit in which a woman has accused Conrad of drugging her drink before assaulting her. Conrad has filed cross-complaints in two previous cases, claiming he's being targeted for his wealth. There are no criminal charges against him, but the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office confirms that there are at least three active investigations into claims against him, including allegations of sexual abuse or domestic violence.
