Shark Tank's Rohan Oza Buys $14M Venetian Islands Estate

Shark Tank investor Rohan Oza buys Miami Beach waterfront home for $13.5M.

R
ohan Oza, a Shark Tank investor and former chief marketing officer of Glaceau, has purchased a waterfront home in Miami Beach's Venetian Islands for $13.5 million. The property at 214 West San Marino Drive was previously owned by Rudolf and Nicole Budja, who bought it for $5 million in 2008. The house, built in 1936 by Art Deco architect L. Murray Dixon, spans 3,800 square feet with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a pool, dock, and 90 feet of waterfront.

Oza's company, Gaadi, acquired the property through a Montana LLC. Dean Bloch and Jackson Keddell of Douglas Elliman had the listing, while Evan Weiss of 305 Degrees Realty brought in the buyer. The Budjas initially listed the home for $29 million in 2022 but reduced the price four times before selling.

The luxury market in Miami Beach's Venetian Islands has seen a trend of buyers seeking turnkey homes with good views and large lots. Recent sales include a Max Strang-designed waterfront spec home sold to a British investor for $23.9 million, an unfinished waterfront spec house sold by Clara Homes' James Curnin for $23.1 million, and a waterfront teardown on half an acre that sold for $27.5 million.

Oza plans to tear down the existing house and build a new one in the future. As a longtime investor in consumer packaged goods brands, he co-founded Cavu Consumer Partners with Brett Thomas in 2015, which has invested in companies like Oatly and Beyond Meat.
