The property, situated at 10277 Scripps Ranch Boulevard, was previously eyed for a research campus but will now be repurposed as part of the homebuilder's growing presence in the area.

    The acquisition includes five parcels along Scripps Ranch Boulevard and Meanley Drive, which were sold to Shea Homes by Alexandria Real Estate Equities, a prominent life science real estate developer. This deal marks a significant shift in the region's development landscape, with Shea Homes poised to capitalize on the area's growing demand for housing.
