ienna Motors is expanding its presence in Pompano Beach by acquiring a former dealership site just a block away from its existing location for $21.9 million. Records show that an affiliate of Sienna, led by CEO Claude Senhoreti, purchased the shuttered Pompano Ford Lincoln dealership at 2714 North Federal Highway and an adjacent retail strip plaza at 2860 Northeast 17th Avenue. The acquisition marks a significant expansion for Sienna, which currently operates a used classic and modern sports car dealership at 2891 North Federal Highway.
The buyer obtained a $14.9 million loan from the seller, an affiliate of Holman Automotive Group, a New Jersey-based car retailer led by CEO Chris Conroy. Holman acquired the property in 1964 for $110,000 and completed the automotive showroom and service center in 1974. The adjacent retail building was purchased in 2020 for $790,000.
Holman still owns several dealership properties in Pembroke Pines and Fort Lauderdale that sell Audi, BMW, Honda, and Mini automobiles. In recent years, Holman has been active in the car dealership market, selling a former BMW dealership in Fort Lauderdale for $5.5 million in 2021.
The acquisition is part of a larger trend of car dealership trades in South Florida. Earlier this month, the Gus Machado family sold their Ford dealership in Hialeah for $19.3 million to an entity managed by Victor Benitez, the vice president of Gus Machado Ford. In June, Morgan Auto Group paid $22.5 million for Hollywood Kia, making it the largest car dealership owner in Florida with 77 dealerships across the state.
