he Amaya building at Suffolk Downs is now open for residents. This eight-story complex offers 475 apartments, ranging from studios to two-bedroom units, with prices starting at $2,280 per month. The building features a mix of lighter and darker interior designs, with some units including patios. All apartments come equipped with washer/dryers and ceramic cooktops.

    The complex has various amenities, such as an indoor-outdoor fitness center, swimming pool, seating areas with fire pits and grills, an indoor lounge, and workspaces. The game room features a pool table, shuffleboard table, and arcade games. Residents can also enjoy electric vehicle charging and bike racks in the on-site parking garage.

    Amaya is located near the Beachmont Square Blue Line stop, making it easily accessible to public transportation. The ground-level retail space will be occupied by Twisted Fate Brewing, with other tenants including a small specialty grocer and restaurants. Suffolk Downs is expected to bring 10,000 units of housing and 5.2 million square feet of life science and office space to the area upon completion.

    The development's proximity to the existing neighborhood around the T stop has been emphasized by HYM Investment Group partner Doug Manz, who stated that they are creating a new district rather than just building apartments.
