A
luxury condominium project in Fort Lauderdale is launching sales under the Riva brand, courtesy of Italian yacht maker Riva. The 20-story, 36-unit Riva Residenze building at 3019 Harbor Drive will start at $3.5 million, with units ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 square feet and two penthouses spanning over 8,000 square feet each. Amenities include a fitness center, spa facilities, pools, library, theater, cigar room, wine room, media room with golf simulator, Riva art gallery, and indoor garden.
The project's design is being handled by Arquitectonica and yacht designer Giuseppina Arena. The development team, consisting of Vertical Developments, GCF Development, and WellDuo, secured approval for the 240-foot-tall building in January, exceeding Fort Lauderdale's usual maximum height of 120 feet east of the Intracoastal Waterway.
The site was purchased for $8 million in 2022. The Riva Residenze project is part of a growing trend in South Florida, where luxury condo projects are being branded with high-end names from hospitality, fashion, and culinary industries. Recent examples include an Elle magazine-branded tower in Miami's Edgewater and a Jean-Georges Vongerichten-branded tower in West Palm Beach.
