yracuse residents were eyeing homes in Florida more than anywhere else outside of New York state during the second quarter, according to data from the National Association of Realtors. In fact, six Florida locations made it into the top 10 list of places people in Syracuse were shopping for homes.

    The Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area stood out as a particularly popular destination, accounting for 4.5% of views on realtor.com's active home listings that originated from the Syracuse area during the second quarter. This was the highest percentage of any metro area nationwide.
