Shippensburg house selling for $413,000 tops the list of most expensive residential real estate sales between December 9 and 22. Eight properties changed hands during this period, averaging $257,938 per sale. The average price per square foot was $132.
Here are the top sales:
1. A single-family home at 135 Park Place sold for $413,000 after being built in 1977. It has a living area of 2,545 square feet and a price per square foot of $162.
2. A single-family house at 126 Park Place was sold for $235,000. The 1,409 square-foot property was built in 1969 and had a price per square foot of $167.
3. A townhouse at 134 S. Earl Street changed hands for $215,000. Built in 2008, it has a living area of 1,656 square feet and a price per square foot of $130.
4. A manufactured home at 2 Irvin Drive was sold for $197,000. The 1,876 square-foot property was built in 2006 and had a price per square foot of $105.
5. Two single-family homes on North Prince Street were sold for $121,000 each. Built in 1900, they have living areas of 1,390 square feet and a price per square foot of $87.
6. A single-family house at 704 Marden Avenue was sold for $196,500. The 1,028 square-foot property was built in 1996 and had a price per square foot of $191.
