Trump Received $21m+ from Saudi Developer in 2024

Trump Organization expands global presence with six ongoing projects and a new deal in Qatar.

U
S President Donald Trump's financial disclosure reveals he received $21.9 million in license fees from Saudi real estate developer Dar Al Arkan in 2024, making it the single largest contributor to the Trump Organization's revenue that year. The payment is related to Trump-branded developments in Dubai and Oman.

Dar Al Arkan has now paid the Trump Organization over $27 million since 2021, with an additional $5.35 million paid between 2021 and 2022 for a hotel, golf club, and villa complex in Oman. The company's estimated net worth is around $900 million, mostly held by Al Shelash.

The Trump Organization has at least six ongoing projects with Dar Al Arkan across Dubai, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with another project underway in Greece. A new golf and villa development in Qatar was announced in April 2024, marking the first Trump-branded project to launch since Trump's return to office.

In Asia, the company has broken ground on a luxury golf and residential development in Vietnam, partnered with Hung Yen Hospitality. The project is expected to cost $1.5 billion and take four years to complete, with Hung Yen paying the Trump Organization $5 million in licensing fees in 2024.

With projects still in development across Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Trump is poised to earn millions more from these international ventures throughout his current term. However, a high-profile luxury hotel project in Belgrade, Serbia, has hit legal trouble due to alleged document forgery by a cultural official.
