n Boston, a new wave of leaders is rising to shape the city's real estate and land use landscape. The Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Boston/New England has launched its Center for Leadership, a cutting-edge program designed to equip emerging leaders with the knowledge, skills, and connections needed to drive positive change.
The inaugural cohort consists of 18 mid-career professionals who are poised to take on leadership roles in their organizations or industries. Over the course of eleven months, they will engage with industry experts, explore Boston's neighborhoods and development hotspots, and delve into key themes such as housing, economic development, and urban design.
"We're thrilled to welcome this talented group of emerging leaders," said Michelle Landers, Executive Director of ULI Boston/New England. "Our goal is to empower them with the insights, connections, and confidence needed to leave a lasting impact on our region."
Through a combination of case studies, panel discussions, and roundtable conversations, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the complex issues shaping Boston's real estate landscape. From the fundamentals of development to the intricacies of policy and public sector engagement, they'll explore it all – and develop the skills needed to tackle these challenges head-on.
