ivaris Real Estate is pleased to announce the renewal and expansion of the United States Coast Guard Community Services Command's lease at 510 Independence Parkway in Chesapeake, Virginia. The CSC has renewed its existing lease and expanded from 23,568 square feet to a total of 46,992 square feet by adding 23,424 square feet of additional space.
Gerald Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, negotiated the transaction on behalf of the tenant, while Brian Devlin, Senior Vice President, represented the landlord. The CSC's headquarters in Chesapeake serves as a central hub for managing its operations, including 66 retail exchange stores, commissaries, and gas stations, as well as oversight of satellite exchanges on ships and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs at over 1,200 Coast Guard units globally.
