mith Hill Capital, ECI Group, and InterVest have launched a $250m US private real estate lending venture, offering financial solutions to multifamily property owners. The platform provides first mortgages, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity investments for refinancing, new construction, and acquisitions.
Loans will range from $15m to $100m and initially focus on the Southeast US and Texas before expanding nationwide. ECI CEO Seth Greenberg said the partnership enables them to offer tailored financial solutions in the multifamily space, broadening their capabilities.
Smith Hill managing principal Brendan McCormick stated that they're excited to partner with ECI and InterVest, leveraging collective expertise to provide innovative financing solutions. InterVest SVP Rob Rothschild added that their focus on structuring debt and equity solutions aligns with growing demand for development capital and refinancing in the multifamily sector.
