D Vance, the 40-year-old Vice President, has made a tidy profit on his Washington, DC-area residence. According to property records obtained by The Post, he sold the Alexandria, Virginia home for $1.86 million, a whopping $172,025 above its asking price of $1.69 million.
The sale was swift, with a buyer swooping in just six days after the listing on February 27. Vance and his wife, Usha, had purchased the 2,530-square-foot Del Ray farmhouse in February 2023 for $1.63 million, coinciding with his debut as Ohio's US Senator.
The property boasts a unique blend of vintage charm and modern upgrades, featuring custom built-ins, a welcoming front porch, and an open family room with a woodburning fireplace. The ground floor also includes a sleek kitchen, dining area, and half bath, while the upstairs primary suite has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, attached office, and revamped bathroom.
The property's exterior features a paved driveway to a custom garage and a hardscaped backyard linked to Judy Lowe Community Park. A standalone accessory unit adds extra space with a kitchenette, fireplace, full bath with heated floors, and storage.
Vance has since relocated to the vice presidential digs at One Observatory Circle, where he resides with his family. They also maintain their primary Ohio home in Cincinnati, which they purchased in 2018.
