wo vacant business buildings in Chautauqua County have changed hands. A review of recent real estate sales reveals that Debra Raynor sold her former Hunting and Fishing Emporium at 166 N. Portage St., Westfield to Bass Equity Holdings, LLC for $70,000. The building had been permanently closed.
In another transaction, Edward S. Balarin Foundation, Inc. sold the Jamestown Office Complex at 421 E. Second St., Jamestown to Vu Huynh for $159,000. Although no businesses currently occupy the space, it previously housed Curves and other establishments.
Among the top sales from February 18-21 were three transactions exceeding $250,000: Melissa Brzozowski sold 355 East Main St., Fredonia to William Kendall and Sommer Gutierrez for $264,000; Jason Morrison sold 4382 West Lake Road, Chautauqua town to the John F. Turben and Susan H. Turben 1998 Descendants Trust for $278,500; and Timothy and Amy McGaughey sold 3522 Stetson Road, Mina to Sarah and Tommy Warnick for $260,000.
A total of 68 transactions took place during this period, with the full list including sales ranging from $1 to over $736,000. Notable sales include Catherine Kobacker selling Unit G at Penn Arms Condominium in Chautauqua town to Roger and Margaret Anderson for $736,030, and Secretary of Veterans Affairs selling 15 North Shore Park, Cassadaga and a parcel in Pomfret to Janet Erazo for $126,100.
