Women's PPE Brand Launched by ARX, Revolutionizing Jobsite Safety

Boston— ARX, a women-owned PPE brand, launches first line of PPE designed specifically for women.

B
oston— ARX, a women-owned personal protective equipment (PPE) brand, has launched the first PPE line designed specifically for women, marking a significant shift in an industry long dominated by gear made for men. The company was co-founded by Dr. Hilary Gallin and Kaitlin McCarthy, who were frustrated with ill-fitting safety gear that compromised their comfort and confidence at work.

"We were tired of wearing PPE that didn't fit and wasn't made for us," said McCarthy. "ARX was born from the need to feel safe, respected, and confident at work." Dr. Gallin added, "When women wear gear designed specifically for them, it changes how they work and how they're seen."

ARX's inaugural product line features a proprietary Multipoint Fit System, which delivers a tailored silhouette, breathable fabric, and unrestricted mobility while maintaining ANSI-107 Type R Class 2 certification. The launch comes at a critical time as employers face increased scrutiny over safety standards and inclusivity on construction sites.

Early adopters such as Tocci Building Companies and NorthBridge Partners are already outfitting their teams with ARX's gear, signaling strong industry support for the brand's mission. While the first collection focuses on construction, future product lines will extend into other sectors where reliable, well-fitting PPE for women remains in short supply.
