At Boyenstraße 38 in Berlin's Mitte district, OTTO WULFF Projektentwicklung has commenced construction work for the residential project THE MIND. The symbolic groundbreaking ceremony marks the transition into the construction phase, after the pre-sale of the residential units was deemed successful. The venture comprises 43 freehold flats and is situated in a central Berlin location.
The project's positioning is characterised by its proximity to important urban facilities and transport hubs. It is located in the area between Berlin Central Station, Charité, Nordhafen and Hackescher Markt. This configuration combines central accessibility with immediate proximity to water and green spaces, which is considered to enhance quality in Berlin's urban development.
Architectural Concept and Sustainability
The design for THE MIND comes from the architectural firm STUDIO MARS from Berlin. The plan envisages a distinctive facade design in a champagne tone, complemented by generous glazing and private outdoor areas in the form of balconies and terraces. A landscaped inner courtyard will serve as a communal recreation area to enhance the living quality for future residents. Furthermore, the concept integrates digital services and smart-living components tailored to modern housing needs.

Tim Obermann, Head of Division at OTTO WULFF Projektentwicklung for Berlin & Leipzig, stated that THE MIND combines various qualities that are rarely found together in Berlin: a central location near the station, yet tranquillity, water, and green spaces in the immediate vicinity. He emphasised that Berlin needs such housing offerings and that the successful pre-sale rate confirms this approach. The freehold flats are being sold through partner BEST PLACE.
Following the completion of preparatory work on the site in Berlin-Mitte, the shell construction work for the 43 freehold flats will begin. The completion of the overall project is scheduled for 2028.
