Peter Gross Facility Management GmbH & Co. KG, a division of Peter Gross Bau, is reinforcing its presence in facility management with the opening of four new branches. This strategic expansion took place in Kaiserslautern, Mannheim, Frankfurt, and Karlsruhe, thereby extending the company's nationwide operations. The Facility Management division has quickly developed into a significant pillar of the corporate group, boasting an annual turnover of approximately EUR 100 million and over 1,400 employees.
Rainer Vollmer, Managing Director of Peter Gross Facility Management GmbH & Co. KG, emphasises the importance of this growth. He explains that facility management is an integral part of every project and unfolds its full value when considered as early as the planning phase. According to him, a late consideration of operating costs, sustainability, and ESG requirements only in the usage phase leads to increased expenditure. The company therefore pursues a holistic approach, encompassing "Plan, Build, and Operate", to support clients throughout the entire lifecycle of a property.
Expansion and Client Portfolio
While Peter Gross Facility Management is already established in Saarland, for instance through the management of the Science Park at Saarland University, the House of Economic Development, and IKK Südwest in Saarbrücken, as well as municipal properties such as swimming pools in Saarlouis and 20 properties of the municipality of Tholey, its presence in German metropolitan areas is now being expanded. In Karlsruhe, the company is taking over the technical and infrastructural facility management for an office and commercial property owned by Merz Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG. For Branicks Onsite GmbH, nine office and commercial properties in Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Ludwigshafen, Bad Kreuznach, and Saarbrücken, with a total area of approximately 45,000 square metres, are being managed. Since March 2026, the company has also been responsible for a portfolio of five office and commercial properties for Groß & Partner in Frankfurt.
Vollmer highlights that regional portfolio assignments are regaining importance. Simultaneously, the presence in the metropolitan regions is being consistently expanded beyond the already established construction business. This strategic alignment is further complemented by the establishment of Peter Gross FM Clean GmbH & Co. KG, which emerged from NR Neue Raum- & Umweltpflege GmbH & Co. KG and refinas GmbH. This measure serves to strengthen the range of services in infrastructural facility management and addresses the increasing market demands for integrated services.
