Pocket House Deutschland and Carré Mobility GmbH have established a strategic partnership. The aim of this collaboration is the enhanced integration of digital building services with shared mobility offerings. This initiative is directed at owners, property developers and existing portfolio holders to provide more comprehensive solutions for the conception and operation of future-proof real estate properties and districts.
Both companies pursue the shared guiding principle of developing and operating buildings and districts in an ecologically and socially sustainable manner, whilst also being economically successful. Particularly in mixed-use areas, significant potential is identified for jointly used vehicles and infrastructure. Digital platforms are intended to simplify access to these offerings and promote their use.
Synergies for Smart Property Concepts
Esther Schwedler, Head of Germany Operations & Strategy at Pocket House Deutschland, stated that buildings and districts achieve their future viability through the joint consideration of digital services, mobility, and user needs. Carré Mobility ideally complements the service portfolio, and it is expected that customers will be provided with a more comprehensive offering for sustainable, smart, and economically successful properties in the future. As part of the cooperation, Pocket House and Carré Mobility intend to develop a joint offering, identify relevant use cases, and successively integrate mobility solutions into Pocket House's digital service world. A core objective is to enable users the simplest possible digital access to the mobility options available at each location.
Expansion of the Digital Platform
Franziska Weiser, CEO and founder of Carré Mobility GmbH, emphasised that Carré Mobility's mobility offerings represent a sustainable, flexible, and economically attractive alternative to private cars. This is particularly relevant as the sharing vehicles are placed directly in the district's internal car parks. For owners, this opens up the possibility of reducing parking space requirements and optimising the marketing of the properties. For successful operation, simple digital access to the vehicles is essential. Weiser believes that separate applications for each service reduce the willingness to use them. All services should be accessible to the tenant in a central digital location, with Pocket House assuming this function and Carré Mobility representing the mobility component within this platform in the future.
Pocket House has a growing interface landscape that consolidates various building functions and external services in a central application. These include digital access, booking systems for rooms and parking spaces, payment systems, parcel lockers, energy and building management, as well as existing mobility offerings. Carré Mobility expands this ecosystem as a full-service provider of mobility stations for residential districts, office properties, hotels, and businesses. The portfolio includes electric cars, e-bikes, cargo bikes, and, via partners, the associated charging infrastructure. Through a rental allocation using a BAFIN-regulated mobility budget, these mobility solutions can be anchored in the property as a long-term value-adding service. Carré Mobility always designs the mobility stations object-specific and demand-oriented.
