This was achieved through the implementation of an AI-supported heating control system during ongoing operation. The results obtained are based on continuously collected operating data from the apartment. This development highlights the significant potential available in existing building stock for efficiency improvements without requiring extensive structural interventions or the immediate replacement of heating systems.
This offers owners and housing companies the opportunity to initially reduce their properties' energy consumption. Simultaneously, reliable consumption data is generated, which can serve as a basis for economically rational modernisation decisions. The optimisation performance provided by Artificial Intelligence (AI) can continue to be used even after a potential heating system modernisation to sustainably ensure efficiency.
Efficiency reserves in existing buildings
