The PRIMESTAR Group is expanding its operations in Berlin by taking over an established serviced apartment business at Goethestraße 87 in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The property, previously known as “Townhouse Berlin” and managed by Revo, comprises 47 apartments and will operate under the name June Stay Berlin from September 2026. This marks the third location for the June brand in Berlin and the second June opening of 2026, following the June SIX Salzburg A Tribute Portfolio Hotel in March.

The integration of this property is part of the expansion of PRIMESTAR's June platform and strengthens the group's position in the capital's hotel industry. June Stay Berlin complements the June SIX Berlin City West, established at Savignyplatz, with a specialised long-stay offering. Together with the planned June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz, the brand's future flagship with approximately 350 residential units, the new location establishes an interconnected June hotel hub in Berlin.

Strategic Anchoring and Offering Integration

With its “travel.work.live.” ecosystem, PRIMESTAR combines the June SIX, June Stay, and WorX brands into an integrated and modular offering. With three June properties in Berlin, either already in operation or under development, guests are offered the flexibility to switch between boutique hotel stays, extended-stay living options, and workspace offerings. The new Charlottenburg location, just minutes from June SIX Berlin City West, is situated in a district featuring boutiques, galleries, cafés, and restaurants.

The spatial proximity of the two properties in Berlin-Charlottenburg enables operation as an interconnected June hub with a shared service philosophy and technology platform. At a city level, June Stay Berlin and June SIX Berlin City West form a western anchor of a larger June network, which will be complemented by June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz in the east of the city in the future. This networking creates operational synergies for PRIMESTAR in the metropolis.

Repositioning and Technology Approach

As part of the repositioning, a reinvestment programme is planned to upgrade the property and operational infrastructure. These measures are intended to enhance the guest experience and secure the property's market position. Integration into the June platform includes the transfer of PRIMESTAR's operating systems, digital guest journey, and brand standards. Operations under PRIMESTAR will commence on 1 September 2026.

  • June Stay is designed as an urban long-stay concept, combining the flexibility of apartment-like living with a digital guest journey.
  • Equipped, design-oriented units are complemented by communal areas.
  • The concept targets students, young professionals, business travellers, couples, and families with flexible booking options.
  • A digital technology platform enables bookings, WhatsApp check-ins, and an AI-supported concierge.

Dr. Roland Rausch, Chairman and Owner of the PRIMESTAR Group, stated that the acquisition is a decisive milestone in the growth of the June platform and further strengthens the Berlin platform following the announcement of the June SIX & Stay flagship at Warschauer Platz. He emphasised that the reinvestment and repositioning of the property will ensure long-term success under the June Stay brand. Ronald Giese, Managing Director of the PRIMESTAR Group, added that the acquisition is a logical step in the expansion of the June platform in Berlin. He referred to the combination of location, team, and owner partnership as the basis for investing in the property and realising the potential of June Stay by bringing together hospitality, living, and working. The transaction was advised and negotiated by Hogan Lovells and Marc P. Werner.
