UniCredit is planning the construction of a new office building in the area between Bothestraße and Leuchtenbergring in Munich. This project is conceived as the company's second office location and is intended to provide capacity for approximately 1,440 employees. The basis for this planning is the result of an implementation competition, which included an urban development and landscape planning ideas section and was conducted for the entire project north of Haidenauplatz.
A public consultation took place for the draft project-related development plan with green space regulations No. 1956c. This allowed the public to submit comments on the planned construction project. The deadline for this participation period ran from Monday, 31 August, up to and including Thursday, 1 October. This process is stipulated according to Section 3 Paragraph 2 of the German Building Code (BauGB).
The planning for the project on Bothestraße was already presented in early 2024 as part of a separate public consultation. Citizens had the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information and submit suggestions at a discussion event. The feedback collected contributes to the refinement and optimisation of the draft plan.
The current draft of the development plan and the accompanying justification were published on the digital participation platform 'Bauleitplanung Online München', which can be accessed at bauleitplanung.muenchen.de. Interested parties could view the planning documents after selecting the relevant planning procedure and submit electronic comments via a special function.
In addition to the digital provision, the complete documents were also physically displayed during the publication period. This took place at the Department for Urban Planning and Building Regulations, located at Blumenstraße 28 b, Room 071, on the ground floor of the high-rise building. Access was possible from Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with barrier-free access ensured via Blumenstraße 28 a. An overview of all current participation procedures for planning approval and urban development planning procedures is available on the city's website at muenchen.de/auslegung.
