With QUADRION Engineering GmbH, a new engineering company is establishing itself in the field of Technical Building Services (TGA) in Germany. This venture, active since 1 July 2026, brings together approximately 130 employees across seven locations nationwide. The new formation consolidates expertise in heating, ventilation, sanitation, electrical engineering, measurement, control and regulation technology (MCR), and digital planning using Building Information Modelling (BIM).
QUADRION integrates the many years of experience and specific know-how of the previously independent planning offices TEPMA Engineering GmbH, Janowski Ingenieure GmbH, and SE-Engineering GmbH. The existing locations in Borken, Frankfurt am Main, Vilshofen, Chemnitz, Berlin, Munich, and Stuttgart will be retained. For existing clients, the contact persons, ongoing projects, and established procedures will remain unchanged.
Concept and orientation of the new brand
The name QUADRION was deliberately chosen to underscore the focus on integrated building technology planning with a systemic understanding. The number four references cost group 400 of DIN 276, which defines the core area of Technical Building Services. Symbolically, it also stands for the essential disciplines of modern building technology that the new company covers.
- —Heating
- —Ventilation
- —Sanitation
- —Electrical and MCR technology
This structure fosters a combination of technical depth, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the goal of holistic building technology planning. With 130 employees, QUADRION is one of the larger TGA planning organisations in Germany. The new organisational structure combines the advantages of a high-performing, supra-regional entity with the flexibility and client proximity of regional presences. The pooling of competencies enables cross-location project processing, targeted deployment of specialist knowledge, and efficient resource utilisation. At the same time, the established client relationships, regionally rooted teams, and respective corporate cultures of the original companies are preserved.
Responsibilities and future prospects
Operational management is the responsibility of the previous managing directors Detlef Cordes, Sebastian Schulz, and Frank Schulze. All employees of the merged companies will be retained, and all existing locations will remain. QUADRION is part of the Planning Business Unit of Salvia Gebäudetechnik. Within this unit, there is close cooperation with HTW Ingenieure. Both companies are developing their collaboration incrementally but continue to operate as independent brands, each with its own identity. Dirk Jannausch, Managing Director of Salvia Gebäudetechnik, stated that the creation of QUADRION as a strong and independent brand enables more comprehensive client support and simultaneously creates a foundation for further growth, while preserving proven structures and corporate cultures.
