The Bavarian state capital is realigning its future spatial and structural orientation. The current urban development plan (STEP) serves as the central strategic instrument for the coming years, formulating binding targets across seven fields of action for Munich's sustainable urban development.
To introduce the contents, focal points and concrete planning guidelines to the local community as well as professional experts, the city administration is hosting a dedicated information event. The session will take place on Tuesday, 27 October, at 18:00 at the municipal PlanTreff at Blumenstraße 31.
Presentation via lecture and digital tools
The focus of the evening will be an in-depth examination of the guiding planning framework. Attendees will gain insights into the structure of the urban development plan and the underlying steering approaches during a presentation.
Complex spatial interactions will also be made accessible through modern visualisations. Digital tools and interactive maps will allow participants on site to explore the objectives within individual sub-areas and familiarise themselves with the STEP in detail.
