Cushman & Wakefield is strengthening its leadership team and focusing on expanding regional expertise within its asset classes. Effective 1 January 2027, Sabine Schulz will assume the position of Retail Leasing Lead for Munich and the Southern region. She will report directly to Daniel Kroppmanns, who has served as Head of Retail Leasing Germany since 1 July 2026.
Ms Schulz joins Cushman & Wakefield from Colliers, where she worked for almost eleven years. At her previous employer, she was responsible for several leadership positions in nationwide and regional retail letting. Furthermore, she was responsible for Luxury Retail as Key Account Manager in Germany. Sabine Schulz's previous professional positions include renowned companies such as Kemper's, JLL, and Lührmann.
Strengthening Retail Expertise
Daniel Kroppmanns, Head of Retail Leasing Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, commented on the new appointment. He emphasised that Sabine Schulz is one of the most experienced retail brokers in Germany and possesses a comprehensive international network. Her expertise and network of contacts will provide significant support to the letting team. Ms Schulz's appointment underlines the continued growth trajectory and the further expansion of the retail letting team.
Mr Kroppmanns also highlighted the importance of experienced professionals, especially in an increasingly competitive market environment. These are crucial for providing professional support and targeted advice to national clients and international corporate mandates.
Strategic Regional Expansion
Mario Herbst, Head of Leasing & Tenant Representation Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, affirmed the strategic direction. He explained that the regional expansion of leadership personnel in the various asset classes represents a clear growth objective in the letting sector. In addition to logistics, retail is of particular importance here. By gaining Sabine Schulz, the company secures an established professional with national and international connections in one of Germany's most important retail markets, thereby noticeably strengthening its presence.
